Kaswyn E. Hunt

is an Australian costume designer, maker and artist.

   Having always been creative with her hands, Hunt is currently undergoing a bachelor of fine arts at Newcastle University, focusing on fibres and textile arts. Hunt intendeds and wishes to continue further studies in the world of costumes. 

   Throughout highschool Hunt focused on Fashion and Textiles, receiving a short scholarship to the Whitehouse School of Fashion in Sydney, for Fashion Drawing. Also Hunt was a featured designer in the Flair Fashion Awards in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013, receiving the "Peoples choice award" for a 5 piece Art Deco inspired collection in the "Gen Y" theme.  

Hunt was the head costume designer and wardrobe manager for the Tantrum Youth Art's innovative production "Stories in Our Steps" that was performed in March this year. 

Her lastest project was being co-costume designer with Bev Fewins for "Evita" with The National Theatre Company in March 2016. As well as making a large amount of the period costumes, Hunt was also Wardrobe Mistress in the theatre and  Head Dresser for lead actress Amy Vee for the entirety of the show.
